What is C.O.F.F.E.E. essentially? It reads linearly, and truly, as "Christ offers forgiveness for everyone everywhere". We however would intreat you to think about this some more.

C.O.F.F.E.E. – How a Sinner Can Be Saved Through Jesus Christ

C – Christ Is the Only Savior

  • Scripture Reference: John 14:6 — “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
  • Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only way to salvation. No man can be saved apart from Him. He is not one of many ways, but the exclusive and only Savior who has the power to redeem sinners. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He alone offers the hope of eternal life. A sinner must recognize that Christ is the only Savior, and the only means of salvation.

O – Offers Grace to All

  • Scripture Reference: Ephesians 2:8-9 — “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
  • Jesus Christ offers salvation as a gift, not based on any works we can do, but entirely by His grace. This offer of grace is available to every person, regardless of their past sins or failures. It is not earned or deserved but is extended freely to all who will receive it by faith.

F – Forgiveness Is Granted Through Faith

  • Scripture Reference: Acts 10:43 — “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
  • Forgiveness of sins comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. By trusting in His sacrifice on the cross, a sinner is forgiven and their sins are washed away. This forgiveness is not conditional on good works, but on the grace of God received by faith. Every sinner who believes on Jesus Christ is forgiven, no matter the depth of their sin.

F – For the Sinner Who Repents

  • Scripture Reference: Luke 13:3 — “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
  • Repentance is a crucial step in receiving salvation. You don't earn your salvation, it is a gift. Repentance isn't an act you perform to try to earn your salvation. Repentance, by definition, is a turning away from something and toward something else. Repentance means a change of mind that leads to a change of direction—turning away from the world and turning toward God.

E – Everyone Can Be Saved

  • Scripture Reference: 2 Peter 3:9 — “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
  • The good news of salvation is for everyone, regardless of background, race, or past. God desires that all people come to repentance and be saved. There are no limits or exclusions; Christ died for the sins of the whole world. Salvation is a universal offer, made available to every man, woman, and child.

E – Everywhere, God's Invitation Goes Out

  • Scripture Reference: Matthew 28:19 — “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
  • The message of salvation through Jesus Christ is not confined to any one group of people or geographical location. It is an invitation that goes out to all nations, all peoples, and all places. The Great Commission commands believers to spread the gospel of Jesus everywhere, reaching the lost with the message of salvation.

 

 

Through the C.O.F.F.E.E. framework, we see clearly that salvation is a gift from Jesus Christ—freely offered, available to everyone, and accessible by faith alone. Christ is the only Savior; He offers grace and forgiveness to all who believe. Salvation is available for everyone who repents and turns to Him. And that message of salvation is meant to be proclaimed everywhere.

May all who hear the gospel respond in faith, accepting the free gift of salvation that Jesus Christ offers, and find forgiveness, hope, and eternal life in Him.
